She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Shaffer; her parents, Vere Blough and May Blough (Stoner); and her siblings, Gloria Jean Blough, Robert Blough and John Blough.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Shaffer of Lemoyne, Susan Irvin (Terry) of Shiremanstown and John Shaffer (Scarlett) of Lemoyne; her grandchildren, Stephanie Roberts, Michael Shaffer Jr. (Erin), Matthew Shaffer (Jennifer), Christopher Irvin (Carla), Daniel Irvin (Samantha), Tamara Reynolds (Brian Jr), Sabrina Morrow (Hank) and John Shaffer II (Jennifer); and her siblings, Virginia Reece, Genevieve Martin, Vera Fry, Josephine Huntzinger, Dorothy Albright (Sam), Linda Harvey and Oscar Blough (Cathy). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to any local pet shelter.
