He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Imler and Irvin Imler; and his brother Robert Cromer Imler. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, William Thomas Imler (Faith) and Stacey Imler O'Donoghue (Vince); his stepgrandson Christopher L. Spencer; and his granddaughters, Kiley and Caitlin O'Donoghue.
