He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey F. Smiley and Vanie L. Baumgartner; and his son Clyde Smiley. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his sons, Harvey (Dee) of Mechanicsburg and David (Monica) of Lewisberry; and his sister Loretta Peters of Marysville. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center or Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.
