He is survived by: his wife Olga Barlow; his son Dennis Monighan of Lewisberry; his daughter-in-law Barbara Monighan of Mechanicsburg; his grandsons, Sean Monighan (Johanna) of Mechanicsburg and Joshua Monighan (Jennifer) of Mechanicsburg; and his great grandchildren, Matthaeas, Isacc, Brodie, Dyland and Lydia Monighan.
