She was predeceased by: her husband William C. Smith Jr.; her parents, James R Wertz, Sr. and Dorothy Wertz (Erickson); and her brother James R Wertz, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Debra A. Forker (Delbert); her nephew Clifton D. Forker (Aoife Toomey); and her pet Sherman.
