He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Bruce Berkey and Earl Prebble Jr.; and his great-grandparents, Mabel, Earl Prebble Sr., Frances and Elmer Jackson.
He is survived by: his parents, Brandy Prebble and Travis Prebble; his brother Collin; his grandparents, Pam, Steve Faust and Anne Prebble; and his great-grandparents, Shirley and Shimer Berkey. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
His family asks that any donations honoring Gareth be made to Centre Region Parks and Rec in support of the Whitehall Road Regional Park and their "We Play Together" accessible facilities.
