With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert S. Smalley Sr. of Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2024 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Smalley and Cecilia Smalley; his son Robert S. Smalley Jr.; and his siblings, Jack Murphy, Russell Smalley, Richard Smalley (late Chris) and Penny Vall (Mark Garletts).
He is survived by: his children, Paula Hall (Bud) and Bryant Smalley (Angela); his grandchildren, Jenna Smalley (Tim) and Dalton Hall; his siblings-in-law, Linda Smalley, Patti Pegg and Donald Vall; his close friends, Robert and Deborah Hawk; his extended family, Rex Silbaugh (Ky), Rose Hall, Sheila Cole (Jimmy), Jordan Cole and Joann Garletts; and also Hadley Bodkin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
