She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Showman and Henrietta Showman (Owens); her siblings, Bernard P. Showman and Theresa Lee Reinitz; and her husband Michael S. John.
She is survived by: her children, Julie, Jeffrey John (Paula Petrone) of Logansport, IN, Michelle Komacek (Stan) of Uniontown, Kathleen Miller (Keith) of Uniontown and David John (Beth) of Orlando, FL.; her grandchildren, Brandon Seehoffer of Arlington, VA, Anastasia John of Goshen, IN, Kelly Miller (Matthew Brown) of Pittsburgh, PA, Jeremiah John of Pine Village, IN, Moira John of Indianapolis, IN, Brenna John (Abdias Garcia) of Orlando, FL and Abby Miller of Uniontown, PA.; her brother-in-law H. Joel Reinitz of Mound, MN; her nieces and nephews, Nathanael Reinitz, Matthew Reinitz, Amanda Reinitz, Andrew Reinitz, Bernadette Showman Sheppard, Keri Showman, Jodi Showman Kiddish and Jerry Showman; and her daughter Joanne.
