She was predeceased by: her parents, William Russman and Mable Russman (Riggar); her husband Daniel Elwood'Woody'Leighty; her sons, Daniel "Pete" Leighty and Brian "Pickles" Leighty; her nephew Barry Hann; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Leighty.

She is survived by: her daughter Susan Leighty Klink (Jeff); her daughter-in-law Robin Leighty; her grandchildren, Samantha Leighty (Brad), Seanna Kessler (Colin), Garrett Leighty, Alexandra Leighty and Amy Leighty; her great grandchildren, Cassidy Hodge (Dalton) and Jadyn Detwiler; her sister Barbara Gettemy; and her nephew Kevin Hann.
