She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Rhodes and Ruth Rhodes (Williams); and her husband John "Jack" Smiley Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, John Smiley Jr. (Carletta) of Leisenring and David Smiley (Sheila) of Leisenring; her grandchildren, Matthew, Melinda, Ashley, Samantha, Amy and Kim; and her sisters, Donna Plankey and Marilyn Leighty. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
