She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Laverna and Anna Cragle Warner Laverna; and her sisters, Dorothy Sowerby, Betty Carter and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Segear; her children, Richard Mekeel, Jean of Florida and Joann Mekeel of Florida; and her sister Hilda Silver (Frank) of Catawissa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
