He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Emery David and Belva Mae Finch Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie Major; his sons, David Stokes (Kim Folk) of West Wyoming and Richard Stokes (Kim) of Lehman; his grandchildren, Jacob and Abbey Stokes; and his sisters, Joyce and Nancy Stokes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
