He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Newton and Hilda Newton (Morey); his son William "Chark" Newton Jr.; and his siblings, Joyce Heil, Lorraine Sitler and Richard Newton.

He is survived by: his wife Mayme Newton (Volkert); his sons, Thomas (Tracy) and Robert (Kim); his grandchildren, Christopher, Melissa, Michael, Keith and Nicholas; and his great grandchild Jacob.

In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted to a charity of your choice in William's memory.
