He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Mildred Smith (Trainer); and his siblings, Albert, Richard, Mildred and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Celia Smith (Hilbert); his stepdaughter Cindy Lee Silfies of Coplay; and his niece Sandra Smith of Lehighton.
