He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Ad and Minola Zachary (Hamilton); and his siblings, Virgil, Clair (Zorman), Mabel (Craig), William, Clark, Earl, Jim, Grace, Edwin and Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Zachary (DeGrace); and his children, Kim Fischer (Barry), Mike Zachary (Angie), Josie Wolverton (Butch) and Jan Gross (Glen). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
