He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Boyd and Laura Jean Boyd (Stephenson); his stepson Chris George; and his brother Robert Boyd II. He is survived by: his wife Patti Jo Boyd (Smiley) of Lehighton; his children, Rebecca Howell (David) of Holly Hill, SC, Kate Mickey of Hampton, VA and Luke Boyd (Patty) of Bethlehem, PA; his stepson Nick George of Clearwater, FL.; his grandchildren, Lucas, Mazzy, Katie, Riley, Rowan, Candace, Charlie, Mary, Matthew, Ashton, Josh and Jaclynn; his great grandchildren, Roni and Samantha; and his brother Greg Boyd of Chesapeake, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (1426 US-209, Gilbert, PA 18331). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
