She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Mertz; her parents, William Blose and Carrie Blose (May); and her sister Catherine Sendel. She is survived by: her children, Frank Mertz (Tammy) of Lehighton, Judy Kane of Lehighton and Kathy (Scott Moyer) of Lehighton; her grandchildren, Heather (Don Ginder), Adam Koch (Matt Koerner), Josh Mertz, Julie (Dan Frey), Cody Moyer (Janine Valerio), Jade (Devin Andrew), Mitchell Moyer (Katie) and Klarissa Mertz; her great grandchildren, Haley, Payton, Abby, Ally and Bennett; her niece Yvonne DiSalvo; and her nephew William Sendel (Diane).
