With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth N. Toohey of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Kelemen and Dorothy Kelemen (Keiffer); her husband Michael F. Toohey; and her siblings, Michael Kelemen and Alice Chervenak.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon L. Toohey (Kelly Willard, Jr.) of Newark, DE, Lori-Ann Toohey of Lehighton, PA and Bruce M. Toohey (Andrea) of Northampton, PA; her siblings, Joseph Kelemen (Jane Grinstead) of Canada, Dorothy Santa Maria (Vincent) of Forked River, NJ, Joyce Wagner (Joseph) of Carteret, NJ and Judy Stives (Stan) of Bear, DE; and her grandchildren, Caleb, Isabella, Michael, Connor, Nathan and Carson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
