He was predeceased by: his wife Rena O. Exner (Shupp); his parents, Luther Exner and Anna Zellner (Wagner); and his siblings, Luther Exner, Leonard Zellner, Linda Green and Cassie Exner.
He is survived by: his children, Jay Exner (Sharon) of Bethlehem, Beth (Michael Steigerwalt) of Lehighton and Amy; his grandchildren, Derrick Steigerwalt (Viktoriya Lupareva), Chris Steigerwalt (Tiffany), Sean Steigerwalt and Ray Lenhart (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Landan, Brielle Steigerwalt, Sophie, Sawyer Steigerwalt, William Steigerwalt and Mila Lenhart; and his siblings, Lewis Exner (Evelyn) of Lehighton, William Exner (Kathy), Robert Exner (Diane) of Lehighton, Sara Flyzik of Lehighton, Patricia (Ronald Wieghorst) and Karen Friebolin of Allentown.
