He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Louise Smith (Hauser); and his sister Nancy Long. He is survived by: his spouse Jean M. Smith (Snyder); his sons, Jeff Smith (Shelley) of Lehighton and Jason Smith (Tina) of Jim Thorpe; and his grandchildren, Nathan and Jena Smith.
