He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Kistler and Hattie Kistler of Mahoning Valley; his wife Connie; his daughters, Sherry Paules (Tom) and Teresa Fowler (Russ); his grandchildren, Nathan Fowler (Edessa), Becca Forte (Jake), Benjamin Fowler (Karly), Alivia Paules and Alejo Bair (Ford); his siblings, Charles (Derue), Grace Neifert (Skip), Bruce (Allane) and Ginny Fairchild; his sister-in-law Dena Kistler; and his brothers, Robert and Jeffrey. He was also cherished by spouses, in-laws, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions in Rick's memory be made to Lehighton or Mahoning Valley Fire Companies in honor of their efforts in the 2013 fire of their home. Contributions could also be made to any church or charity of your choice.
