He is survived by: his stepmother Mary Jane Eckert (Bachman); his siblings, Dennis Eckert and Sharon Shook; his close friend Dennis Miller of Lehighton; his nieces and nephews, Rachel, Riley, Sadie and Chase; and his aunt Marguerite Balliet of New Jersey.
