She was predeceased by: her husband William C. Newton; her parents, Charles Volkert and Mayme L. Volkert (Gomery); her son William "Chark" Newton Jr.; and her siblings, Infant Gladys, Lenore Young, Miriam Giovenco, Marie Balliet, Russell, Willard, Charles Jr., Richard, Luther and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas (Tracy) and Robert (Kim); her sister Fay Thomas of Lehighton; her grandchildren, Christopher, Melissa, Michael (Emmalea), Keith and Nicholas; and her great grandchild Jacob. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
