He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Chalupa and Mary Chalupa (Pavelka); his wife Anna Mae Chalupa (Painter); and his siblings, Anna Jacobs, Mary C. Jaso, Paul Chalupa and Rev. John Chalupa.

He is survived by: his children, Dolly Friedman of Greenville, PA, Carol Ann Long of Sicklerville, NJ and Martin Thomas Chalupa of Tucson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
