With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda E. Kates of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Schlier and Verna Schlier (Dotter); and her husband James R. Kates. She is survived by: her daughters, Natalie Savage of Bethlehem, Lora Gould of Lehighton, Pamela Kates of Lehighton and Valerie Miller of Lehighton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to go to the animal shelter of your choice.
