He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman D., Sr. and Verna B. Hartman (Stout); his wife Elizabeth J. Hartman (Hamm); and his siblings, Shirley Trainer, Herman, Jr., Robert and George.
He is survived by: his son Daniel S. (Barbara A. Hartman) of Lehighton; his grandson Craig S. (Alycia) of Parryville; and his brother Richard "Mickey" R. Hartman of Mahoning Twp. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
