He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Kistler and Hattie H. Kistler (Miller); and his brother Robert Kistler. He is survived by: his wife Dena Kistler (Hannon); his sons, Louis F. Accardi (Erin) of Lehighton, Jeffrey D. Kistler Jr. (Karen) of Lehighton and Joseph C. Kistler (Allyson) of Palmerton; his grandchildren, Gaige, Hayley, Liv, Hunter, Hattie, Brielle and Theo; his great grandchild Oliver; and his siblings, Charles (DeRue), Richard (Connie), Bruce, Virginia Fairchild and Grace. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
