He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fritzinger and Grace Fritzinger (Gruber); and his siblings, Paul, Walter Jr., John Fritzinger, Barbara Lauchnor and Nancy Muthard.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Fritzinger (Solt); and his children, Scott Fritzinger (Debra Warhola) of Lehighton and Donna (Arnold Kemmerer) of Nesquehoning. He is also survived by three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
