Greta Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Greta Smith of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Greta leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald J. Smith; her parents, John Mullan and Sarah Mullan (Wallace Duncan); and her son Scott J. Smith Sr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amanda Zellner (Brandon) of Lehighton and Scott Smith Jr. (Nora) of Lehighton; her daughter-in-law Mary Ann Smith of Lehighton; and her great grandchildren, Tilly, Malcolm Smith and Everly Zellner.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home (190 S 4th St, Lehighton, PA 18240).
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
