It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwin W. Longacre of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Longacre and Daisy Longacre (Reiber); his wife Hazel Longacre (Dunbar); and his children, Larry and Deborah O'Brien.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Longacre of Lehighton, PA; his brother Warren Longacre of Kunkletown, PA; his stepson Richard Hall (Janet) of Lehighton; his grandchildren, Laurie Ahner (Kyle) of Lehighton, Jeremy Kresge, Sean Dailey, Dixie Costenbader, Michelle Green, Tirzah Henry, Sean O'Brien, Jeffery and Jennie Hall; and his son-in-law William O'Brien of Blakeslee, PA.. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
