He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Steigerwalt and Grace Steigerwalt (Andreas); his wife Jean L. Steigerwalt (Wehr); and his sister Diane Steigerwalt. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly J. Szacska (John), Lori A. German (Gregory), Rodney L. Steigerwalt of Lehighton and Donald R. Steigerwalt, II (Janet Ross) of Lehighton; his siblings, Gerald Steigerwalt (Rhea), Althea Higgins, Marilyn Reichard and Joyce Kupres (Thomas, Sr.); his grandchildren, Jamie (Sjaun), Aaron (Megan Rae), Chelsea and Corey; his great grandchildren, Jack and Kane; his close friend Hazel Goodhile; and his sons, Boy Scout Troop and Little League Baseball.
