With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia A. (Wehr) Smith (Lehighton, Pennsylvania), born in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 21, 2020 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Wehr and Gladys Miller Wehr; and her sister Patricia Wehr. She is survived by: her husband David R. Smith; her children, Jeremy D. Smith (Vanessa) of Lehighton, Jarrod S. Smith (Nicole Mertz) of Lehighton and Jessica L. Smith of Lehighton; her brothers, Ronald J. Wehr (Maggie), Terry A. Wehr (Cathy) and Orville C. Wehr; and her grandchildren, McKenna, Wyatt, Chase, Kailyn and Clayton.
In accordance with CDC precautions for the public during the pandemic, the family will hold a Memorial Service at a future date to be determined when restrictions have been lifted to allow family and friends to gather and honor Cynthia.
