He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Nothstein (Mazzei); his parents, Burdell Nothstein and Hilda Nothstein (Miller); his sister Doris Bollinger; his grandson David Jr.; his niece Doris Ann; and his nephew Randy Bollinger.
He is survived by: his children, Carl (Lora) of Lehighton, Jennifer (Randy Green) of Palmerton, Margaret Nothstein of Northampton, Lisa Nothstein of Palmerton and Paula Bachman of Northampton; and his grandchildren, Randy, Chris, Bambi, Jill, Ashlee, Matthew, Austin and Amanda. He is also survived by 14 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
