He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Torrence and Ida Torrence (Snyder); his wife Madeline Torrence (Bachman); and his siblings, Arthur, Elsie, Paul, Lloyd, Robert and Victoria.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Leary of Columbus, NJ, Susan C Schrei (William J.) of Whitehall, PA and William W. Torrence, Jr. (Nancy) of So; his sister Burdine Koch of York, PA; his grandchildren, Heather, Beth, Erik (Amy), Keri (Keith) and Kimberly (Nick); his great grandchildren, Megan, Zachary, Alyssa, Griffen, Kyle, Ryan, Nicholas, Owen, Nathan, Sophie and Mackenzie; and his great great grandchildren, Avery and Robin.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Stephens Funeral Home (274 N Krocks Rd, Allentown, PA 18106).
