He is survived by: his children, Barbara Bayer (Mike), Mike and Tom; his wife Joyce (Biddy); his children, Richard Jr. and Sue Grimaldi-Stanley; his great grandchild Nathan; and his brothers, Carl Jr. and Joe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
