She is survived by: her mother Evelyn Shafer (Moyer); her husband John Hower; her children, Christine Moynihan, Robin Fogarty, Angela Greenzweig (Jason), Crystal Hower, James "Jimmy" Fogarty (Cara), Raymond Fogarty and John "Bud" Hower, Jr. (Brionna Sura); and her siblings, Raymond Shafer (Tammy) and Penny. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
