It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Merna L Poninsky of Leetsdale, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Jones and Merna Jones (Lott); her husband William Poninsky; and her siblings, Bobby, Paul, Gary Jones, Mabel Oliver and Eileen Niven.

She is survived by: her children, William Poninsky (Cathy) and Marilyn Bender (Glen); and her grandsons, Cody Bender (Rachel) and Kyle Bender. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
