He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul S. Kercher and Betty Kercher (Dinino); and his sister Paula "Cookie" Shade. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Kercher (Zawaski); his children, Heather L. Billman (Michael Billman), Jason M. Kercher (Athena) and Lauren B. Sekulski (Sinking Spring); his grandchildren, Hailey, Caden, Gage, Cruz, Xavier, Zander, Gia, Thian, Justin Jr. and Liliana; his siblings, Dorothea Tremper and David Kercher (Dorothy); his niece Laurie Kercher; and his pet Twix.
