He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Strause and Evelyn S. Strause (Huey). He is survived by: his wife Elaine C. Strause (Chruney); his children, Erick D. Strause and Cathie J. Peters (Shane); his grandchildren, Logan, Willow, Ethan and Ellia; and his brothers, Ryan W. Strause (Ann), Randall S. Strause (Vina), Bern Twp and Ronald J. Strause (Melissa).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc. (223 Peach St, Leesport, PA 19533). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Berks County Memorial Gardens (201 Evansville Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522).
