He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Flammer and Mildred T. Flammer (Sattler); and his brother Steven C. Flammer. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Flammer (Miller); his children, Laura Ringler (Mark Williams), Carly Shilling (Brian), Kristin Wolf (Michael Wolf, Jr.), Adrian Flammer, Marcella McLaughlin and Cory McLaughlin (Kelly); his grandchildren, Christian, Brady, Zoe, Cooper, Allyson, Amanda, Jessica, Emily, Connor, Samantha, Vincent and Adrian; and his great grandchildren, Jayce and Colton.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the McGlinn Cancer Institute through the Reading Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 16052, Reading, PA 19612.
