He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Mae Harcar (Moyer); and his parents, Joseph W. Harcar and Mary Harcar (Pluta). He is survived by: his daughter Amy H. (Court Holloway) of St. Petersburg, FL.; and his brothers, William M. Harcar of Bern Twp and Michael W. (Mary Harcar) of Ontelaunee Twp.
