He is survived by: his wife Crecensiana Rivera (Montejano); his children, Edgardo (Michele Rivera), Heriberto Rivera, Jr., Beatrice Rivera (Manuel DeJesus) and Lupe (Brandon Kasper); and his grandchildren, Vanessa, Olivia, Andre, Anthony, Katalina and Amelia.

A reception was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Theo C Auman Funeral Home (247 Penn St, Reading, PA 19601). A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
