He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Sr. Herb and Lillie Herb (Angstadt); and his sister Shirley Levan. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Herb (Sweitzer); his siblings, Henrietta A. Snover (Alan D.), Leonard Herb and Leon Herb (Mel) of Morris, PA.; and his niece Katie Donneli. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
