She was predeceased by: her spouse Lee W. Staab; her parents, Harry L. Zimmerman and Ada M. Zimmerman (Hess); and her siblings, Marvin K. Zimmerman and Marion E. Kaley (Zimmerman).

She is survived by: her sister Arlene A. (Wayne R. Hoffert). She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
