She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph F. Schappell; her parents, Luther W. Ketner and Ida M. Ketner (Wink); and her siblings, Amos, Irvin Ketner, Edith Wessner (Ketner) and Lillian Schlegel (Ketner).
She is survived by: her children, Larry A. Schappell (Doris), Dennis R. Schappell, Rick F. Schappell (Ann) and Renee Y. (Kenneth Weist). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
