He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Barbara A. Mayer (Berger); his parents, Paul Mayer and Alice Mayer (Dries); his sons, Jeffrey L. Mayer (Noreen, Fleetwood), Tod M. Mayer (Dawn, Annville), Shawn A. Mayer (Lori, Shoemakersville), Patrick A. Mayer (Danielle, Blandon) and Josh B. Mayer (Fleetwood); his siblings, Dennis Mayer (Charlie), David Mayer, Dale Mayer (Bobbi Ann), Ronald Mayer (Ann), Carl Mayer (Donna), Bernice Benz (Joseph), Carol Nattress (Bruce), Cheryl Bretz and Gail Kopicz (Mike Davis); his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Mayer and Patricia Mayer; his son Bradley S. Mayer; and his brothers, Paul, Robert, George and Daniel Mayer. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
