She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel O. Smith; and her parents, Raymond Long and Katie Long (Heim). She is survived by: her sons, Daniel O. "Doc" Smith (Gail) and Dana W. Smith (Carol); her grandchildren, Jon Smith, Melissa White, Heather Marx and Andrew Smith; her close friend Mike Hrezik; and her siblings, Raymond, James, David Long, Catherine Helwig and Edna Dellaplaine. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
