He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles L. Schroeder and Florence Schroeder (Wisser); and his siblings, Warren Schroeder, Denton Schroeder and Miriam Miller.

He is survived by: his spouse Anna V. Schroeder (Adam); his children, Karen B. (Schroeder), Gregory B. Lerch, Spring Twp, Monte C. (Rebecca), Shoemakersville, Kirk D. Schroeder, Todd D. (Elaine), Perry Twp, Chris M. (Jennifer) and Richmond Twp; his grandchildren, Tracie, Lynmarie, Brandon, Derek, Timothy, Ashley, Amy, Adrienne, Lisa, Marc, Lindsay, Kylie, Miles and Adelynn; his stepgranddaughters, Janelle and Brandy; and his sister Sandra Platfoot. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandsons.
