He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Brosius and Alda Mae Brosius (Reitz); his wife Mary Ellen Barnes; and his siblings, Erma Jean, Kathryn, Betty, Merle, Earl, James, Charles and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ellen Heasley (Larry) of Leeper, PA, Susan Radaker (Timothy) of Shippenville, PA, Cindy Callihan (David Sr.) of Leeper, PA, Deborah Maxwell (Gary) of Clarion and Bonnie Sweeney (Brian) of Oil City; and his grandchildren, Angie Coleman (Mason), Becky Chizmar (Matt), Crystal Tharan (Shane), Dana Sweeney, Bethany O'Toole (Casey), David Callihan (Ashley), Erin Sweeney, Justin Heasley (Macy), Jennifer Bartley (Ned), Kyle Sweeney (Amanda), Amanda Hepinger (Michael), Tori Amsler (Jason), Cassi Ochs (Nick), Rick Staley (Kelley) and Bart Staley (Val). He is also survived by 28 great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
