It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Edward Bauer of Leeper, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Jacob Bauer and Ollie Fitzgerald Bauer of Leeper; his wife Ruth Arlene Banner; his siblings, Winnie Orlando Durante and Francis Bauer; his sister-in-law Mary Francis "Cookie" Bauer; his son-in-law Larry Reed; his great grandchild Logan Reed; and his parents-in-law, Rick, Joe, Clete, Ron, Bernard, Russ, Ed, Marion, Doris, Kass and Emma.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lorraine Schmader and Larry Bauer; his children, Karen Hulings (Dick), Kathy Reed (Terry), Rod Bauer (Cathy), Bruce Bauer (Sherrie) and Jan Edmonds (Pete); his grandchildren, Missy Bingham (Marcus), Kreg Hulings (Jocelyn), Dan Reed (Ameeta), Amy Lauer (Larry), Tim Reed (Jessica), Kristen Angell (Pat), Ryan Bauer (Tracy), Chris Bauer, Samantha Biss (Josh), Jacalyn Beers (Mike) and Jason Edmonds (Tiffiny); his great grandchildren, Ryker, Tyler, Brooke, Henry, Hollyn, Nishant, Nalini, Alaina, Larry, Sara, Ella, Cadence, Preston, Kylee, Ashlyn, Jaelyn, Cameron, Kalaya, Kessa and Ember; and his parents-in-law, Rose Banner, Mary Louise Banner, Cathy Banner and Jack Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
